Coworking Bansko 2.0 Mission
A brainstorming around our upgraded mission and strategic direction for the next years.
Coworking Bansko is now averaging about 100 members, we have 40+ members that made Bansko their home and we are recognized as one of the biggest nomad hubs in Europe. So our initial goal to build a nomad hub has accomplished with flying colors. Time for a new Big Hairy Audacious Goal: Enabling our members to become the best version of themselves — achieve self-actualization, their full potential.
Working with Maslow’s hierarchy of needs framework as a starting point we discussed with our members how Coworking Bansko can support them to reach their life’s goals, what Coworking Bansko needs to fulfil that mission and what everyone individually has to do to become the best version of themselves.
It was very exciting to hear people share what they need to do to fulfil their life’s dreams. And our community can be the platform to meet many of these needs like:
- Work my ass off
- Build better habits
- Be more generous with my time
- Be more inclusive
- Change the World
- Consume self-help materials
- Be as supportive as possible for other people’s goals
- Ask deeper questions to get to know members better
- Learn about member’s needs and how to support them
- Eat healthy, workout
- Be more social
- Meditate regularly
- Read books and attend workshops to improve skills
- I want to develop
- Build my own tribe to fulfil my goals and keep me accountable
- I want to teach people to learn new skills
- Make a change in someone’s life
- Invest into a project, using my own skills
- Share ideas, offer help
- Earn, save, invest
- Be open, vulnerable
- Heal, work on limitations
Coworking Bansko 2.0 will be about to link higher level needs of our members to specific activities, facilities and services. Similar how we charted a way together with our community to build one of the best rural coworking spaces, this new journey together will bring self-actualization to our members and the Coworking Bansko community as a whole.
